Naas Town Hall will be a hub of activity on Saturday 7th September from 10:00am – 5pm.

The Rotary Club of Naas have organised a new event for the town called “Our Town Our Community.”

The event will bring together the people of Naas and a diverse range of community groups will provide information on what is available to do or to get involved with around the town. This event will cater for all ages and tastes and there will be plenty of entertainment. So this is your invitation to drop into the Town Hall and meet the various groups, listen to plenty of music, and pick which new hobby you would like to try out. You can get your face painted or enjoy a cup of tea and find out about the history of the town. President of the Rotary Club, Breda Cullivan, of Breda Cullivan & Co Solicitors based in Naas, stated that “our goal is to provide as much information to the people of Naas as to what’s available to them in the town and to give an opportunity to the various groups to showcase themselves. This is the first year we have held this and we hope it will become an annual event.”

The Rotary Club of Naas was established in 1997 and meets each Wednesday in the Maudlins House Hotel, Dublin Road, Naas. The Club continues to partner with many local charities while following in Rotary International’s tradition of encompassing humanitarian values. The Naas club has initiated projects locally, nationally and internationally. Rotary’s most notable commitment is to the eradication of Polio.
